Description

An advanced trick to thread balls into your strikers when a defender is pressing you.

In this video, Daniel Aguilar teaches you to master an advanced resource for slipping balls through to your forwards: the L1+R1 pass. You start the dribble animation with L1+R1 and, halfway through the movement, cancel it with a pass. The result is an extra passing lane and freedom from the defender's pressure.

What you will learn

  • What it is: start the skill move animation with L1 + R1 and cancel it with a pass.
  • How to do it properly.
  • The situations where it works best, especially from the wing into the middle.

Who it is for

For players who want more passing options under pressure.

When to use it

When you're on the ball out wide and want to play it inside with a defender on you.
