Description

Your winger makes a run but heads for the corner flag: with the curved run, he can attack a different space.

Your winger makes the run but drifts to the corner flag when you wanted him inside the box. Gravesen covers the curved run in FC 27: which space to look for before you press anything, how to trigger it with L1 + R1, and when to play the pass or keep the ball.

What you will learn

  • Which space to look for before you press anything: teammate, defender and receiving area.
  • Trigger the curved run with L1 + R1 without losing track of the player on the ball.
  • Correct it with R1 if the wrong player sets off, and what to do when the run runs out.
  • Decide the pass with three questions: onside, clean angle and advantage.
  • When to keep the ball even after you've triggered the run.

Who it is for

For anyone playing FC 27: it's the new run mechanic. This is the free part; it continues in «Decoy runs and the third man».

When to use it

When the gap is between full-back and centre-back and you want your player to attack it diagonally.
