October Masterclass: the most common mistakes we see in our lessons

Live masterclass with Jaime "Gravesen", Chousita and Tipun. After weeks of 1-on-1 lessons, they go through the mistakes students make most often and how to fix them, with real plays and the students' questions: sprinting too much (R1 where R2 was needed), defending without L2 and overusing R1, poor ball progression (the pinged pass, used well and badly, among others) and attacking without taking the cursor into account.

Defensive settings in FC 27

You have seen a thousand videos with the most overpowered settings, but has anyone explained why? Gravesen goes through what each defensive setting in FC 27 does, so you can choose your own instead of copying whichever pro is in fashion. In this first part: Advanced or Tactical Defending and the five Auto Switching options, with what each one gives you and what it can cost you.

The follow-up to “Defensive settings”. The three remaining chapters: Right Stick Switching (Classic, Rotation and Flexible, the player or ball reference, and sensitivity), L1 switching (Closest to Ball, Goal Side and Classic) and Analog Sprint, which no longer helps in attack in FC 27 but still matters when you defend.

Game plans for every opponent in FC 27

Whatever you do, the opponent keeps hurting you and you keep playing the same way. Gravesen goes through three very common situations in FC 27 and what to change in each: how to defend the diamond, how to attack an opponent parked inside the box, and how to stop L1 + triangle counters.

Beating the CDM defender and getting out of your box in FC 27

The follow-up to “Game plans for every opponent”. Two more situations: how to beat someone who defends everything with the same midfielder, by forcing a player switch or dragging him out wide, and how to get your team out of the box when you are pinned back down the wing, with depth at 50 and the manual offside trap.

Curved runs in FC 27

Your winger makes the run but drifts to the corner flag when you wanted him inside the box. Gravesen covers the curved run in FC 27: which space to look for before you press anything, how to trigger it with L1 + R1, and when to play the pass or keep the ball.

Decoy runs and the third man in FC 27

The follow-up to “Curved runs”. Now the runner is the player who has just passed: the pass and follow with L1 + R1 + X. And the run as a decoy, to drag the defender away and find a third team-mate even when the runner never gets the ball.
