For when you reach the edge of the box and get stuck: moving the ball with no purpose or forcing passes that aren't on.
What to do once you are in the final third and the opponent has dropped back. Chousita works on the part of attacking where matches are decided — and where most players get stuck.
What you will learn
- Pin defenders by driving at them to force your opponent to decide.
- Stretch the pitch with width and depth instead of bunching players together.
- Use off-the-ball runs to move the defence, even if that player never gets the ball.
- Spot which defender has left his position to find the free man, with an extra pass if needed.
- Recognise a genuinely big chance before you shoot: the nearest defender, the shooter's foot and body shape.

In settled attacks in the opponent's half, especially in tight games and in the final minutes.
